Rape is way to common

It always amazes me how many people contact me for help. Every since I started my websites...people have just been drawn to me, for advice, counseling, even support. I wish that I could run to them all. I think that everyone has the right to feel safe and secure. Sadly rape takes away all of that from you. Rape I think is the worst crime ever. The affects don't stop once the crime is over. It tears down the victim....over and over again. It takes so much courage and strength to over come being a victim and being a survivor. The fact that 1 in 3 people that you meet in your life has been raped? is staggering. Now that I am trained to notice little signs? I see it so much more. I look at every woman I meet? and wonder....did it happen to you? Rape is way to common....and it needs to be stopped.
